Open GarageBand on your computer. If you don't have it installed, download and install it from the official Apple App Store.

2. **Create or Open a Project:**

Start a new project or open an existing one where you want to add vocal presets. You can create a new project by selecting "File" > "New" > "Project" from the menu.

3. **Add Vocal Track:**

Create a new vocal track by selecting "Track" > "New Track" > "Audio" or "Software Instrument," depending on your recording source. Choose "Voice" as the instrument if you are recording vocals.

4. **Open the Smart Controls:**

Click on the "Smart Controls" button in the control bar at the top of the GarageBand window. This will open the Smart Controls pane.

5. **Choose a Preset:**

In the Smart Controls pane, you'll find a section for "Track" settings. Look for the "Plug-ins" button and click on it. GarageBand provides a range of presets for various instruments, including vocals. Choose a vocal preset that suits your project.

6. **Adjust Preset Settings:**

After selecting a preset, you can further customize it by adjusting individual plugin settings. Click on the disclosure triangle next to the plugin name to reveal its parameters and make adjustments as needed.

7. **Add Additional Effects (Optional):**

GarageBand allows you to add additional effects to your vocal track. Click on the "Edit" tab in the Smart Controls pane, then select "Audio FX." Browse through the available effects and add any extra processing you desire.

8. **Record or Import Vocals:**

Record your vocals directly into GarageBand using a connected microphone, or import pre-recorded vocals. You can do this by selecting "Track" > "Import" > "Audio File" if you have vocals recorded separately.

9. **Mix and Arrange:**

Adjust the volume, panning, and other track settings to achieve a balanced mix. GarageBand's intuitive interface makes it easy to arrange and edit your vocal tracks.

10. **Export Your Project:**

Once you are satisfied with your project, you can export it by selecting "File" > "Export to Disk." Choose the desired file format and settings for your project.

Remember to experiment with different presets and settings to find the sound that best fits your project. Additionally, GarageBand may receive updates, so it's a good idea to refer to the latest documentation for any changes in the software.
